 CLINIC & TREATMENT POLICY

Booking information

For treatments lasting over one hour or over the value of £99, a non-refundable booking fee of £50.00 will be required to secure your appointment. This can be done via PayPal, cash or bank transfer. This cost will be deducted from the final price of your treatment.

Payment Plans

A payment plan can make semi permanent makeup treatments more affordable so please speak to a member of staff who will explain your options. We do, however, reserve the right to refuse payment via installments.

Cancellation Policy

For all appointments, we require a minimum of 48 HOURS NOTICE should you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellation after this time will result in lost booking fee and a further booking fee will be required to secure any further appointments. If your cancelled appointment is filled, you will be informed and the booking fee can be held for your next appointment so as to remain fair.

If you cancel your appointment without giving 48 hours notice and you have not paid a booking fee (in such instances where split payments have been offered), a 50% charge will be added onto your next service.

No Show/Late Arrival

If you miss your appointment or arrive too late for the treatment to be carried out, the full cost of the treatment is payable.

Complaints/Refunds

Informed Consent: treatment plans are always discussed prior to any treatment being carried out and you have every right to decline a treatment before it commences if you are not 100% happy, or you decide the time is not right for you to proceed.

If you are unhappy with your treatment outcome in any way, please speak to your  practitioner as soon as possible so that there is an opportunity to put things right.

If you have further work undertaken by another practitioner/clinic, please not that we will be unable to offer a correctional treatment or refund, therefore it is imperative that any issues are brought to our attention immediately.

It is very important that you do READ YOUR CONSULTATION PAPERWORK before ticking boxes and signing!

Semi Permanent Makeup Retouch / Maintenance Appointments

All new permanent make up treatments include a second ‘Retouch’ appointment to complete the treatment. Retouch appointments must be within 8 weeks after the initial appointment. If you fail to attend a booked appointment or do not book within 2 months, the service will revert to a colour boost and be charged accordingly.

Contraindications to Semi Permanent Makeup

Clients who are seeking permanent makeup and who may be contraindicated (meaning those that cannot be treated) are:

  • Persons under 18 years of age

  • If you are pregnant or breast feeding

  • Those with easily triggered post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation are not good candidates

  • Those who develop keloid scarring

  • Those with blood disorders such as haemophilia

  • Those who have healing disorders, are on blood thinning medication or have uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Those with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema or undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the area to be treated.

Treatment Restrictions

  • Chemotherapy: doctors approval may be necessary. You are free to have permanent makeup 6 months after your last chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment.

  • Laser eye surgery/eyelid surgery and blepharoplasty:  please wait 6 months for eyeliner treatment. All other areas are ok

  • Those on any skin medication such as roaccutane for acne must wait for 6 months after use

  • Sunbeds: allow 7 days after any sunbeds or sunbathing to allow your skin to heal. Sun damage can cause skin irritation and can make pigment very difficult to implant.

  • Please check any skincare that you use regularly for AHA's and stop using them for 4 weeks prior to treatment.

  • Lash growth serums: stop 6 months before any semi permanent eyeliner treatment.

Important Notes

  • Eyelash Extensions: please remove any lash extensions 24 hours prior to treatment.

  • Contact lenses must be removed before eyeliner treatments and glasses worn for 24 hours after.

  • Cold Sores: clients with a history of cold sores need to use an anti-viral drug (Zovirax, Valtrex, Aciclovir) 2 days prior and continue the course post lip procedure to minimise the risk of an outbreak. This can be ordered online from Superdrug.

  • No alcohol, aspirin or ibuprofen for 24 hours prior to your treatment (please check with your GP before stopping any medication).

  • You must be fit and well on the day of your appointment.

General information

  • You will be required to read and accept the consent forms before any treatment will be carried out.

  • Photographs (of treated area only) will be taken during the procedure to document the area being treated and INKLUVV will request consent to use these images on their website and social media sites.

  • Pre-drawing will be shown to you before any pigments are put into the skin. Your acceptance of the pre- drawing is consent to go ahead with the treatment.

  • Colours used are individually selected by INKLUVV, however pigments/colours can appear different from person to person. This is why we have a Retouch appointment.

  • Colour is initially 50% darker immediately after the first treatment, this will fade as the pigment settles into the skin and as all skin heals differently, hair stokes may blur over time.

  • After your treatment you will be given an aftercare pack with an advice sheet and balm. It is imperative that all aftercare is followed to obtain the best result. Failure to follow aftercare may result in infection and poor pigment retention.

  • If a third Retouch session is required (this can be particularly necessary for eyeliner), the session is chargeable.
